08–NikeSB Garage

I helped to create a state-of-the-art indoor skate park for New Yorkers looking to escape the harsh Winter chill

︎ SCOPE
Brand Identity
Graphic Design
Spatial Design
︎ INSIGHT
Located in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, the Nike SB Garage is an indoor skate park intended as a state-of-the-art refuge for area skaters looking to step in from the cold.
︎ CONCEPT
The site in Williamsburg was a former car wash so the name for the park fell into place. I designed the identity and art directed the exterior and interior elements from signage to material palette and retail space.
︎ SOLUTION
The angular logo pays homage to the twists and turns synonymous within the sport. The colour was picked from the original car wash signage as nod to it’s heritage.
